One of my limited edition T-shirts for Universal’s Behind the Lines, commissioned by Small Japanese Soldier. This tee is for the song ‘American Girl’ by Tom Petty. This T-shirt and label is solely my design, but I also part-designed the tees ‘London Calling’ by the Clash and ‘Good Vibrations’ by the Beach Boys for the Behind the Lines series. The concept for the T-shirt series is to tell the real story behind a song. Florida legend says ‘American Girl’ was a UF Gainesville student who high on LSD hurled herself to her death from the rooftop of her dorm building.
